How long does a color correction take?
It depends entirely on your hair's history. A simple tone correction can take a few hours; more complex corrections, such as removing box dye or lifting multiple layers of color, may require a full day or a series of appointments.
How many sessions will I need?
Some corrections are completed in one visit; others are safer and healthier when spread across two or three sessions. Anna will map out a plan at your consultation based on your hair's current condition and history.
Can you fix box dye or DIY color?
Yes. Box dye, at-home color, and color gone wrong from another salon are some of the most common corrections Anna sees. A consultation comes first, so she knows exactly what she's working with before any color is mixed.
Will color correction damage my hair?
Correction work is done carefully and in stages when needed, to protect hair that may already be compromised. Anna uses bond-building treatments like K18 where appropriate, and will never rush a correction at the expense of your hair's health.
What's the upkeep after a color correction?
Upkeep depends on the specific correction — Anna will guide you on the right aftercare for your hair and let you know if a follow-up session is recommended to maintain the result.
